Newton was founded in 1871 and named after Newton, Massachusetts, home of some of the original Santa Fe Railway stockholders. The town became an important railroad shipping point of Texas cattle. Our own history is more current but still rather extensive beginning with our company founder who lived in the city limits of Newton for the first five years of his marriage, previously living here for about five years before that. The founder’s uncle has been a realtor and developer in town for about 40 years. Our founder has purchased, renovated and sold just under a dozen homes. In addition, our founder was on the Newton Planning Commission for about 5 years, has sat on a non-profit board as well as the Code Review Board for several years. Our roots in Newton are extensive. The picture on top shows a rural custom home we built with a side load garage, just south of Newton. The beamed front porch welcomes visitors. The board and batt siding with shake siding accents blend in well to the country setting. The image that follows is of a Newton home addition that needed a large gathering place for family and friends-they no longer need to feel hemmed in!
The next two images are bathroom remodels from your neighbors in Newton. The first really packs a punch! The veined tile really fits well with the other details. The Onyx shower base provides worry free protection, and the tile gives a custom look. An Onyx shower door finishes the look to provide a welcoming shower. Oval mirrors, and mixed metal wall sconces provide a beautiful finish. The second shows how Custom Onyx showers can be made almost any size or shape and allowed this client to make the most use of the space that was there. Custom shower glass, grab bars, and plumbing fixtures tie this shower together to create a welcoming space! The seat in the back of the shower is ready for you to take a load off and relax! Custom mosaic tile accent and Onyx crown molding finish off the look.

This next image is a home built on lake with large garage, with craftsman trim detailing, and board and batt siding with shake siding accents and wide window trim.
