It became a destination for cattle drives traveling north from Texas to Kansas rail roads, earning it the nickname "Cowtown". In the 1920s and 1930s, aircraft manufacturing companies began to establish themselves in Wichita. The city became an aircraft production hub known a s"The Air Capital of the World". The picture that follows features a large addition to a smaller home in Wichita.This addition brought modern convivences to a smaller home that now has a three-car garage, large walk-in pantry, and a main floor master suite.And the picture immediately above this section shows an addition with features a deck that was enlarged to allow for an exterior elevator to create an accessible master suite.This deck had to be extended, and a roof put over the top of it to make the space flow with the rest of the home.
